Hi there my dear book lovers
I know I haven´t posted in a long time, and I´m so sorry for that, but I´ve been busy with school stuff.
I don´t know about you but I´m completely obsessed with Harry Potter (I think I have already mentioned this in another post), and for me J. K. Rowling is the writers of all writers. So when I knew that she was writing news books, I almost camped in the front of the library so I could the first one to read them.
The first one she published is called "The Casual Vacancy", and I must say, when I first start reading it I found it a little boring, but a year later I tried again and absolutely loved it. The way how she describes the characters and their feelings and thoughts is absolutely genius, and it makes us think about our society and about the teens we have home. It´s awesome what some people can do with words.
Then Rowling started to use other name to sign books. Robert Galbraith, I must say, a hell of a crime fiction writer. I mean, what could be better than crime (my favourite type of books to be honest) and J. K. Rowling together?
I think I read "his" book like five times. I´m kinda obsessed with crime fiction books and once again they didn´t disappointed me, It shows the dark side of people and at the same Cormoran Strike is the perfect private detective, always misterious but so vulnerable.
I can´t wait to buy "The Silkworm" and read it, It must be awesome like the others.
J. K. Rowling never disappoints.
Hi guys!
One of my many many, many, many addictions is Divergent (the book obviously). I love the story, the drama, the characters, basically everything in that book. The way how Veronica Roth leads ous through the cenary and makes ous imagine every scene is just genius! I mean the damn womem as to be a genius, otherwise how could she write a book like that without being one?
The all story is great, the way she describes every place, every character and every scene makes me feel like I´m watching a movie by reading those pages! Just awesome!!!!
I´m pretty sure that if not all of you, then the most, have seen the movie. Well I like the movie, but it doesn´t even compare to the book. The truth is that when they convert books into movies, most of the details, those short dialogs that you read get lost in the process and don´t show up in the movie. At the first sight it doesn´t look like a big lost but if you compare the book and the movie you´ll see that all the romantic thing between Tris and Four doesn´t really show up and it´s kinda disappointing.
Anyways I like the movie just and I think it´s worth seeing but the book is much better.
Ok, here we go
First post about books.... I don´t know what to write in here but I hope you enjoy it anyway
The title of this post is not any sort of insult to anyone who is reading this. I consider myself a nerd because I´m obsessed with books, I could spend my entire day reading to be honest.
One of the most strange things about me (or at least it`s what people tell me) is that when I like a book I can read it over and over and never get tired of it!
I think I´ve already read Harry Potter´s books like 5 times each (and no I´m not fanatic, and no I
don´t have my entire room decorated with Harry Poterr´s stuff).
I hope I´m not the only one in this world like that, it would be too sad for me.
Here goes a list of the books that I´ve read most:
1- Harry Potter (5 times each)
2- The Hunger Games (3 times each)
3- Divergent, Insurgent, Allegiant (3 times each)
4- Looking for Alaska (3 times)
5- The fault in our stars (2 times)
And the list goes on and on because everytime I read a book that I like I read it again :)
For me, there´s no better thing than books (except for chocolate, because there´s nothing better than chocolate).
